Drain Ridge
Hydro jetting nozzle spraying high-pressure water

High-pressure drain cleaning to remove grease, scale and stubborn buildup from inside your pipes.

What Is Hydro Jetting?

Hydro jetting uses controlled high-pressure water to clean buildup from the inside walls of drain and sewer lines.

Unlike basic snaking, which mainly clears a path through a blockage, hydro jetting can wash away grease, sludge, mineral scale and other buildup that has collected inside the pipe.

Before jetting, the line should be assessed to make sure the method is appropriate for the condition of the pipe.

When You May Need It

Hydro jetting can be useful when buildup keeps causing slow drains or recurring blockages.

  • Recurring Clogs

The same line keeps blocking again even after it has already been cleared.

  • Grease & Sludge

Grease, soap residue and debris can gradually coat the inside of the pipe.

  • Slow Main Drains

Multiple drains are running slowly or the main line is not flowing properly.

  • Heavy Buildup

Scale and debris inside the pipe are restricting flow and reducing capacity.

What to Expect

We assess the line first, then use the appropriate equipment and pressure for the job.

  • Inspect the Line

We check the condition of the drain and identify the cause of the restriction.

  • Choose the Right Setup

The appropriate nozzle and pressure are selected for the pipe and buildup.

  • Clean the Pipe

High-pressure water removes buildup from the inside walls of the line.

  • Confirm Flow

The line is checked after cleaning to confirm that drainage has improved.

Frequently Asked Questions

Hydro jetting typically costs $1,000 to $1,500 at Drain Ridge. The final price depends on the length and condition of the line and is confirmed after an inspection.

Hydro jetting is safe for most drain and sewer lines in good condition. We inspect the line with a camera first, because high pressure is not suitable for pipes that are cracked or collapsing.

Snaking clears a path through a blockage, while hydro jetting cleans the full inside wall of the pipe. Jetting is the better choice for grease, scale, and recurring buildup in sewer lines.

Most lines only need cleaning when a problem appears. Lines with a history of roots or grease buildup benefit from regular maintenance cleaning, and we recommend a schedule based on what the camera shows.
